The best part of my day is seeing my friends in my classroom. I have made some great friends in my class and we really enjoy learning together.

Favorite Subject
My favorite subject is Science because you get to do fun experiments like circuits and magnets. I also like to do math because our teacher gives us challenging problems to figure out.

Favorite School Activity
Right now in fourth grade we don't participate in sports at school yet, but next year I am very interested in cross country, soccer and basketball. Our fourth grade basketball team through the YMCA won our division this year!

Favorite School Tradition
Congé is my favorite school tradition where the eighth grade class surprises us with a fun day at school!

Favorite Space on Campus
Syufy Court is my favorite space on campus. It is a new turf field where we can play soccer.  Every day at recess my friends and I play soccer and make teams.

Best Part of Your Day
The best part of my day is seeing my friends in my classroom. I have made some great friends in my class and we really enjoy learning together. We love to get together during recess and go to the Spark Studio where we make movies and circuits.

Favorite School Project
I am most proud of my Gold Rush book that included information about the Gold Rush. It included chapters, pictures and an index. I am going to go on a class trip soon to Sacramento and learn more about the Gold Rush.

Benefits of Single-Sex Classes, Coed Community
I think that belonging to a single-sex school has given me the confidence to succeed in a classroom of only girls. I am not nervous to perform in front of the classroom (e.g. influential women project, international day) and am able to participate in sports-related activities during recess without any competition. I like having the boys on campus too because my brother is in the boy school and I get to see him. I also get to do coed activities with the boys such as our improv unit, which was really fun.

Future Career Path/Fields of Interest
I see myself working in my father's company one day in finance. I also enjoy soccer a lot so I would love to coach young kids, too.
