President Krejcarek Announces New Hires in Leadership Positions

Meet three senior administrators who will step into new roles for the 2019–20 school year.

In the April edition of the Convent & Stuart Hall Newsroom, President Ann Marie Krejcarek officially announced the hiring of three highly qualified individuals into key leadership positions. Kevin Brenner will serve as the next Head of Stuart Hall for Boys, Bobby Ramos will step into the role of K–12 Director of Enrollment Management & Financial Aid, and Dana Kuwahara will act as the new K–12 Head of Athletics & Physical Education. The three administrators will join the school's Leadership Team and begin in their new roles at the start of the 2019–20 school year.  

Kevin Brenner, Division Head for Stuart Hall for Boys

Kevin Brenner brings to Schools of the Sacred Heart experience as a teacher and administrator in public, independent and international schools. Kevin started his career as a third and fourth grade teacher in public schools in New York and North Carolina. After eleven years in public schools, he transitioned to independent schools as a PK–4 science specialist at Canterbury School, a PK–8 school of 350 students in Greensboro, North Carolina. During his time at Canterbury, he began his administrative career, first as Director of Auxiliary Programming and then as Academic Dean. In 2016, Kevin became the Lower School Principal at George Washington Academy, a PK–12 school serving 900 students in Casablanca, Morocco.

As a school leader, Kevin has developed expertise in strategic planning and implementation of research-based, mission-driven programs. He's inspired by the challenge of giving students the tools they need to unleash their learning potential. His colleagues at George Washington Academy describe him as passionate, dedicated, inspiring and committed to building strong teams. Bobby Ramos, K–12 Director of Enrollment Management & Financial Aid

Bobby Ramos is well known in the world of education in San Francisco through his work as an educator and admissions director. Bobby will join Convent & Stuart Hall after working in admissions at the Urban School since 2003, and prior to that, he was a teacher at the Presidio Hill School from 1994–2002. Bobby is a San Francisco native, attended Saint Ignatius High School and did his undergraduate study at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In the field of admissions, Bobby is described as "the best" and an individual who possesses a wonderful balance of head and heart.

Dana Kuwahara, K–12 Head of Athletics & Physical Education

Dana comes to Convent & Stuart Hall from Santa Clara University, where she currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director, Academic Services. In her role at Santa Clara, Dana oversees the academic unit that supports 20 NCAA Division I athletic programs. Before joining Santa Clara, she worked for the UCLA Athletic Department and, prior to her work at the collegiate level, she taught high school English. Dana holds an undergraduate degree from Cal State East Bay and graduate degrees in education from Pepperdine and the University of Southern California. Dana played collegiate softball and coached high school softball.
