My favorite school tradition is singing our school song, Coeur De Jesus. We have been singing it since Kindergarten, and it reminds me that we are part of a global community and network of Sacred Heart students.

Favorite Subject
My favorite subject currently is Chemistry. In class we usually learn lots of material and methods for completing problems, but my favorite part is when we get to apply our knowledge to labs and experiments. I really enjoy learning that has real-world applications so even though Chemistry is one of my most challenging classes, I enjoy it the most.

Favorite School Activity
My favorite school activity is swim team. I have made a lot of new friendships through joining the team. Though being on the team is a big time commitment and there are lots of difficult workouts, it is worth it because of the friends I made.

Favorite School Tradition
My favorite school tradition is singing our school song, Coeur De Jesus. We have been singing it since Kindergarten, and it reminds me that we are part of a global community and network of Sacred Heart students.

Favorite Space/Classroom on Campus
My favorite space is either the Cortile, which is the outdoor space by the Chapel, or the Chapel itself. The architecture is incredibly beautiful, and it reminds me how lucky and fortunate I am to come to school at such a beautiful campus every day.

Best Part of Your Day
I always look forward to my art class because it is an independent study class with two other students. It is incredibly relaxing, and I get to create art — a perfect break from my tougher classes.

Favorite School Project
My favorite project I have worked on is definitely creating and planning a mural in the cafeteria and working with spray paint artist The Apexer. My art teacher Ms. McIntire, myself and a group of art students worked with The Apexer to design and create a spray painted mural that covers three walls of the cafeteria.

Benefits of Single-Sex Classes, Coed Community
I love  single-sex education in the classroom. I have learned that I have the right to express myself and share my opinions openly. I think we have the perfect balance of coed and single-sex education.
