Hundreds of Grandparents and Special Friends Attend Open House
Hundreds of Grandparents and Special Friends Attend Open House

[Photos] More than 700 Grandparents and Special Friends joined students on April 26 and 27 for campus tours, classroom visits, concerts and student-led activities.

Grandparents and "special friends" filled every hallway, classroom and performance space of Convent & Stuart Hall on April 26 and 27 to celebrate the exciting learning and special programs that students experience. This is the second year that guests from all four divisions have visited for a two-day open house.

Guests followed individualized class schedules, walking around campus guided by their host to enjoy classroom activities, musical performances, Chapel services, writing workshops and even a DJ'ed dance party.

Guests also had an opportunity to visit a video story booth with their host student(s) asking questions. The interviews uncover stories of growing up in different eras and reveal precious moments between students and their guests.

Elementary school students who did not have a grandparent or special friend attend, had the opportunity to spend the day with a high school student as their guest.

Enjoy hundreds of photos below and more than 40 video stories recorded during the open house.
