Kendyl Eriksen, a science instructor who teaches fundamentally hands-on lab courses, is finding ways to embrace remote learning.
Before Convent & Stuart Hall transitioned to remote learning, sixth grade girls and boys had science classes in two redesigned laboratory classrooms in the Siboni Arts & Science Center. Now, in the absence of lab space, those same students are using science kits assembled by their teacher, Kendyl Eriksen, to perform experiments at home. Six students recorded video of themselves investigating how quickly a solute dissolves in hot and cold water. Will their predictions hold up?
