Favorite Subject
My favorite subject in school is English. I love dissecting the novels we read in class and discussing recurring themes/motifs with my classmates. English class is often very refreshing as my classmates and I are able to share our viewpoints with one another. This provides us an opportunity to see where our opinions overlap and where they clash.

Favorite School Tradition
My favorite school tradition has to be the day before winter break, and the Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer singing competition is the best part of it all. The sense of competition combined with the approaching holiday season is hard to beat.

Favorite Space on Campus
My favorite space on the Pine/Octavia Campus is the courtyard. The tables are set up in a way that allows everyone to mingle, and it is always a vibrant space during lunch. The courtyard is Stuart Hall's melting pot, where everyone comes together in a communal space.

Best Part of Your Day
I always look forward to my IB Math Studies Class. It is the period after my study period, so I always go in with a fresh mindset. I also enjoy seeing all the kids in the class as we have created a small sub-community within the classroom. While we still accomplish a lot of learning each class, we still find some time for inside jokes and laughter.

Favorite School Project
I am most proud of my history Internal Assessment that we are currently working on. Because there is no assigned topic, we all got to research something that was interesting to us. I'm researching the violations committed by the SMU football team in the 1980s that led to the loss of an entire season. The research process for this project has been a great experience for me.

Benefits of Single-Sex Classes, Coed Community
I think the single-sex learning has benefited me greatly. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to really know my brothers at Stuart Hall during my first two years here. However, being at Broadway for a few classes this year has also been a great experience. I like sharing half my classes with the girls at Convent but also really value retaining the single-sex element (in classes like English and Ethics). I hope this is something that remains the same for years to come.

Future Career Path/Fields of Interest
To be honest, I am not quite sure about this yet. However, I am very interested in the music business/industry, as well as sports management.
