Favorite Subject
My favorite subject is History. I enjoy learning about different cultures and societies, the accomplishments of the past and the past's influence on current events. I think it's important to draw parallels between the events, ideas and progress of the past and present so we are better equipped with the knowledge and tools to make the world a better place.

Favorite School Activity
My favorite school activities are team sports. I am a member of the cross country, track and soccer teams, and I have made some of my closest friends through each of the teams. Not only do I get to enjoy the sports I love, but I also make meaningful and long-lasting memories with my teammates at practices and games.

Favorite School Tradition
My favorite school tradition is weekly Chapel. Chapel is a valuable time to connect with the entire community and engage in mindfulness and self-reflection. I also enjoy the community building aspect of Chapel. Seeing all the students and faculty members together reminds me of Convent & Stuart Hall's warm and loving community.

Favorite Space on Campus
My favorite space on campus is the Main Hall. Not only is the interior of this area beautiful, but it is also the place where I see my friends before and after class. Throughout the day, the Main Hall is filled with the friendly faces and voices of students and faculty members. The energy of the Main Hall captures the loving and tight-knit community of Convent & Stuart Hall.

Best Part of Your Day
The best part of my day is going to sports practice. After a long day of studying in the classroom, enjoying the sports I love with my closest friends is rewarding and helps me unwind.

Favorite School Project
I am most proud of my final presentation in my Ethics & Moral Decision-Making class. We were instructed to apply what we had learned throughout the year to a specific and relevant moral dilemma. We presented the dilemma to the class and led a discussion in which we voiced our own opinions and invited our classmates to share their own beliefs and ideas. We fostered a productive and mature conversation among our classmates, making important connections and intelligent observations.

Benefits of Single-Sex Classes, Coed Community
Having the balance of attending a single-sex and coed school has been incredibly beneficial. In a single-sex environment, I feel more comfortable and willing to express my voice and opinion. Because I have developed more confidence in the singe-sex environment, when I transition to a coed environment, I am more self-assured and willing to share my thoughts in class discussions.

Future Career Path/Fields of Interest
Though I am still undecided about the career I want to pursue, I am interested in pursuing a job pertaining to medicine or social work.

How You Felt Supported This Past Year
The school and teachers were incredibly supportive during the entirety of the disconnected and irregular 2020–21 school year. Despite the abnormality of it all, the teachers were forgiving and understanding of the odd circumstances. They approached each class with enthusiasm and patience and created a classroom environment that encouraged productive learning. Additionally, through the school's organization of virtual assemblies, class meetings and chapels, we managed to maintain the strong sense of community that our school had before online learning.
