School Year Kicks Off With a Sense of Excitement

Photos highlight the first day of school as well as Freshman Success and the back-to-school carnival.

With a sense of optimism and excitement, high school students kicked off the 2021–22 school year on Tuesday, August 17.

Prior to the first official day, incoming freshmen arrived on campus for a two-day orientation designed to help them become acquainted with their new teachers and routines, while getting introduced to the physical and cultural aspects of Convent & Stuart Hall. Freshman Success concluded with students and faculty enjoying time together at Presidio Bowl.

On Friday, August 27, high school students and faculty gathered on Syufy Court for a Tropical Glow-themed carnival featuring traditional carnival games, music and trivia.
