The annual event hit its fundraising goal while bringing the Convent & Stuart Hall community together for a day of sport and evening festivities.
The Convent & Stuart Hall community gathers each autumn for the Fall Classic, an opportunity to come together and celebrate the season while raising critical funds to support the school’s operating budget. The annual fundraiser is a hallmark event for the Parents Association.
The setting of the Presidio Golf Course and clubhouse for this year’s event held on October 15 was made all the more memorable by the Oktoberfest theme and festive décor. The fun-filled day began with a workout class led by current parent and fitness instructor Shermineh Takhar, followed by golf and evening festivities, including a raffle, German cuisine and music by DJ Paul Pryor Lorentz, who serves as Community Life Chair and the Chair of the Religion, Theology & Spirituality Department. The evening event was held in a large open-air tent to allow for proper ventilation.
With the support of event co-chairs, Pamela Hamrick and Reena Patel, as well as a long list of other parent volunteers, sponsors and attendees, the Fall Classic was a big success. The photo album below captures the event from start to finish. Thank you!
