This summer, Michael Campos returned to Sophie's Farm, the RSCJ-run farm in a remote region of Samar Island, where 17 high school students studied and volunteered in February.
Michael Campos, High School Religion, Theology and Spirituality Faculty, reconnected with two RSCJ ministries in the Philippine District this summer.
Michael, who helped chaperone 17 Convent & Stuart Hall high school students on the school’s inaugural trip to the Philippines in February, was invited by Lydia Collado, RSCJ, Executive Director of the Sacred Heart Institute for Transformative Education (SHIFT), to return to Sophie’s Farm in Northern Samar, Philippines. He spent two weeks serving as a co-facilitator for the farm’s Summer Institute.
On his return trip to Manila, Michael spent a day at the Saint Madeleine Sophie Foundation and the ASIANZ Novitiate House in the city of Montalban, Rizal.
