Alumni Return to Challenge 8th Graders on the Basketball Court

This spring, both elementary divisions welcomed back their alumni to participate in two friendly, but competitive, basketball games. Going strong for 15 years now, the Stuart Hall Alumni Basketball Challenge came down to the final seconds, with a hearty alumni team overcoming a 30-point deficit at the opening tipoff and then hanging on at the end for a one-point victory over the eighth grade team, 71-70.

Convent Elementary's inaugural alumnae game was a huge success, with the eighth graders winning 42-32, proving they didn’t need a 20-point cushion at the outset. Alumnae spanning 13 years between their graduation years came back in force, ready to begin a new tradition with enthusiasm.
