John Villasenor

Professor of electrical engineering, public policy, law and management at UCLA as well as the co-director of the Institute for Technology Law and Policy; nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Previous Work: Developed methods of imaging the earth from space at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Degrees: B.S., University of Virginia; M.S. and Ph.D., Stanford University

Family: John and his wife Carmen have a son who is a graduate of Convent & Stuart Hall.
