Stewardship Programs - Celebrating Philanthropy

We gratefully acknowledge all of our donors who make contributions to Convent & Stuart Hall. Your philanthropy supports many areas of the student experience, including enhancements to our academic programs and spaces, as well as helping us retain exceptional faculty. We are profoundly grateful to all the donors who contribute to and support Sacred Heart education in San Francisco.

Cor Unum Society - A Lifetime of Exceptional Generosity

Members of the Cor Unum Society are recognized for lifetime giving $1 million  or more through major gifts, gifts to the Annual Fund, event participation and endowment giving.

Named Spaces and Endowment

Named gifts create a lasting legacy and strengthen the donor-designated facilities and programs at the school. Gift levels necessary to establish named endowments and secure named spaces typically begin with a minimum gift commitment of $250,000.

Leadership Level Giving Recognition

Leadership donors who support the school with cumulative annual gifts of $7,500 or more are recognized with an annual cocktail reception hosted by our President and Division Heads. These donors are also featured prominently in our Annual Report.

Principal donors who give or pledge $50,000 or more annually and members of the Cor Unum society recognizing those who have given $1M or more in their lifetime are invited to an intimate benefactor dinner featuring student performances hosted by our President and the Board of Trustees. The event is an opportunity to thank this group for their support while offering a chance to share the success and impact of their gifts.

Duchesne Society

Named for St. Philippine Rose Duchesne who brought Sacred Heart education to the United States, Duchesne Society members demonstrate their commitment to a Convent & Stuart Hall education by planning gifts that will benefit future generations. Such benevolence is not marked by levels of giving but by a generosity of spirit that ensures the school will continue to meet higher aspirations with every graduating class.

Annual Report

Following each school year, the Advancement Office produces a report that details our financial performance, highlights significant achievements, and recognizes all those who gave to the school. This report allows us to share our sincere gratitude, and it is an essential resource and institutional record. The Annual Report is a true testament to the strength and scope of our community of donors and the value and impact of a Convent & Stuart Hall education.

Event Recognition

The generosity of event sponsors and underwriters is the cornerstone of Parents Association events, which are held in support of Convent & Stuart Hall students. Countless other community members support these events by attending, volunteering, donating gifts in kind and bidding on auction items.

Alumni Giving

Membership in the Sacred Heart community lasts a lifetime, as does the support that alumni offer to Convent & Stuart Hall, and many are a significant part of the recognition groups mentioned above. Annually, the Alumni Bulletin recognizes donors who make a gift of any size to the school for at least five consecutive fiscal years.
