Tuition & Financial Assistance

Convent & Stuart Hall is committed to enrolling a student body that represents varied socioeconomic backgrounds. This commitment is rooted in Goal Four of the Goals & Criteria, the building of community. The financial assistance program is designed to make a Convent & Stuart Hall education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds.

Tuition for 2023–24 School Year

Elementary School Tuition (Gr. K–8): $39,920
High School Tuition (Gr. 9–12): $55,015

Tuition Payment Options

We offer several tuition payment plans. A 15% tuition deposit is due with the Enrollment Contract, and the balance due may be paid in one of three payment plans outlined below.

How to Apply for Financial Assistance (2023–24 School Year)

Convent & Stuart Hall recently partnered with Clarity to determine a family's level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application, which includes assets, income, expenses and debts.

To get started, please create a Clarity account and begin the application. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete, and it is mobile-friendly and can be completed on any device. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit. (For fee waivers, please email Lizzie Schneiberg.)

Additionally, you can share your application with other schools that accept the Clarity Application at no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Financial Assistance Application Deadline

Returning Families:
Please submit your Clarity Application (including relevant supplemental documents) by December 1, 2023.
Prospective Families:
Please submit your Clarity Application (including relevant supplemental documents) by January 9, 2024.

Divorced or separated parents, or never-married parents living apart must submit a separate financial assistance application for each household.

Once you submit your Clarity Application, including authorizations, your 2022 W2s and 1040 tax documents will be pulled directly from the IRS as part of your financial aid application.

Important Note: Shareholders in an S-Corp or a partner in a Partnership will need to upload their Schedule K-1, 1120S and/or Form 1065.

February 12, 2024 - (REQUIRED) Deadline for the Following Information

Do I still need to apply for financial assistance every year?
Yes, you will need to submit an application each year in order to qualify for financial assistance; however, Clarity retains your information from previous applications.
Does Convent & Stuart Hall offer merit-based awards?
Awards are based solely on demonstrated financial need; merit-based awards are not available.
Does applying for financial assistance affect my chances of being admitted to Convent & Stuart Hall?
Applying for financial assistance has no bearing on the admissions decision of Convent & Stuart Hall.
Is my information kept confidential?
All requests for financial assistance and family financial information are evaluated by a committee and held in strict confidence.
