Spring Production: Failure, A Love Story

Grades 6–12

Event Details:

Failure: A Love Story by Philip Dawkins is a tale of love, joy, loss and grief. Mortimer Mortimer is a well to do investment banker in 1928, and has everything he has ever desired in life. Except one thing...love. He steps foot into the Fail Family Clock Shop hoping to have his pocket watch engraved with a sentiment to the woman he will marry. Unbeknownst to him the woman or rather women he will fall in love with are all about to enter his life and suddenly die tragically. Sounds sad doesn't it? Fortunately Dawkins takes us on a whimsical journey through the use of song, dance and animals to examine how we continue living in the face of the unexpected.

This production is appropriate for all ages.
