Theater Program

Welcome to the Theater Program at Convent & Stuart Hall. The program encourages students to step into the spotlight and invites them to share their creative skills and talents with confidence. Elements of theater are integrated across our K–12 curriculum through select class projects and instructional activities, such as the annual fourth-grade end-of-year play. Students can further explore their interest in theater by participating in the Theater Program, an extensive after-school offering that provides in-depth exploration and instruction in the theatrical performing arts.

Guided by our skilled Theater Program faculty, student performers refine their craft and showcase their talents through a variety of stage productions throughout the year. The program includes a Grade 5–8 play, a Grade 5–12 musical, and a high school play. High school students can also engage in the Student Arts Workshop, where they lead and develop their own scenes and creative projects under the supervision of the Theater Program Director. Additionally, high school students have the opportunity to work as crew members for the middle school play, earning service hour credits while also providing valuable mentoring to younger students.
