Engage and Connect

Upon graduation, Convent & Stuart Hall students receive a lapel pin and a passport to take on their travels. Schools within the Network of Sacred Heart share this pin, which includes a monogram of SCJ  for Sacré-Cœur de Jésus, along with the Latin phrase Adveniat Regnum Tuum ("Thy kingdom come"), from The Our Father. The passport recognizes alumni as un(e) ancien(ne) élève de notre maison (an alumna/alumnus of our house). By showing this passport at any other “house” in the Network, alumni will be welcomed as a fellow Enfant du Sacré-Cœur.

Through the Convent & Stuart Hall Alumni Association, you will not only stay connected to fellow classmates and the school but you are also given access to the powerful network of other Sacred Heart Alumni. Convent & Stuart Hall alumni have a variety of opportunities and resources to connect: annual alumni events and programs, social and professional networking channels, fundraising campaigns, as well as printed and electronic communications.The Alumni Association keeps Alumni connected to the mission of Sacred Heart Education, Convent & Stuart Hall and each other.

National Alumni Association

Convent & Stuart Hall alumni are also members of AASH (Associated Alumnae/i of Sacred Heart), an organization formed in 1933, whose mission is to "foster a spirit of unity and ongoing communication among alumnae and alumni and their respective associations throughout this nation and the world...nurturing in its members dedication to faith development, intellectual values, respect for personal integrity, community and social service, and the unique philosophy of life that is rooted in the Christian vision of St. Madeleine Sophie Barat."

Today, AASH membership includes more than 40,000 women and men educated in Sacred Heart schools across the U.S. and British Columbia.

International Alumni Association

All Convent & Stuart Hall alumni are also members of the Association Mondiale des Anciennes et Anciens du Sacré-Coeur (AMASC), the global alumni association for graduates of Sacred Heart schools worldwide.

Today uniting tens of thousands of Sacred Heart alumnae and alumni as part of an international family, AMASC was established in Brussels in 1960 at the request of Reverend Mother General de Valon, who saw the vital role alumni could play in fostering the work and spirit of the Society of the Sacred Heart. National Associations of women and men were organized to form the World Association that included alumnae and alumni

The International Association of alumnae and alumni of the Sacred Heart meets every four years, holding a World Congress.
