I think current students should know that there really is no career path. The road that got me to where I am right now is definitely not the one I mapped out when I was 18.
Do not be afraid to take risks and try to push yourself outside of your comfort zone once every day.
Compassion, empathy, and a passion for learning are character traits of mine that were nurtured while I was at Convent and continue to be very important in my life.
