- Kinder Kids & Kindercamp (Entering Kindergartners) Hide
Kindergartners are offered an opportunity to become acquainted with a typical day. In a fun- filled environment, students are introduced to some of the daily routines in the classroom. They will begin their day with circle and calendar activities, tour the campus, participate in thematic activities and play indoors and outside. Your child can wear casual play clothes (no uniform).
Kinder Kids (Session 1 & 2 is CLOSED. Space available in Session 2 for Girls ONLY. Please contact Colleen McGarry to be placed on a waiting list) has a separate morning arrival and dismissal time (8:30am – 11:30am) to ensure a safe and quieter time for the children. Teachers and assistants will be outside daily to greet your child. There is no signing in or out during arrival or dismissal.
NOTE: this course runs all morning from 8:30- 11:30am. Classes are divided into single sex boys' and girls' sections.
Kindercamp is an extended version of Kinder Kids that goes into the afternoon. Stay and play with your friends! Do arts & crafts projects, play games, read stories and have fun playing into the afternoon. Classes are made up of both boys and girls.

Back to Basics Combo
Reinforce skills in reading, writing and math. This class combines all three to improve confidence and proficiency through individualized instruction based on each student’s specific needs. This class is especially for students who will benefit from academic reinforcement of the prior year. Loads of fun included!

Read, Write, Publish!
Learn to love to read and take the first steps to become an author! This class will engage in art-centered activities that promote reading and writing skills. Pop-up and hard-cover books will be created. Students will have plenty of time to read and be read to by other authors.
Math Maniacs
Play games to develop math skills! Discover estimation, problem solving, logic and critical thinking as you play chess and other math-minded games. Discover games of strategy, gain skills and have fun!
Hands On Science!
Gooey, slimy, slippery and strange! Explore the natural world with hands-on science, experiments and games. Gain experience in scientific method while playing with the wonders of the physical world.
Awesome Architects
Build towers, bridges and more in this interactive class. From LEGOS to cardboard and toothpicks, use everyday materials to discover spatial relations and the components of architecture including design and engineering.
Mostly Mandarin
Travel the globe to China in this class! Explore a cultural heritage that is rich and vibrant, sampling customs and crafts as you begin to learn a new language.
Fiestas!
This is a class to celebrate! Learn a traditional song, a bit of Spanish, do arts and crafts and join us on an exploration of a variety of celebrations that take place in Spanish-speaking countries. Cinco de Mayo, Día de los Muertos, Las Fallas, La Tomatina are a few of the fiestas we will sample.
Mad about Music
Do you love to sing? Does music make you want to stand up and dance? Learn new songs, write your own, play musical games, and sing and dance the morning away. We’ll play musical instruments to accompany our singing and even build instruments of our own!
Pee Wee Sports Skills (conditioning and climbing)
Join our action packed sports class! Explore various age-appropriate athletic activities learning coordination and cooperation. We’ll try our hand at basketball and baseball and a variety of other sports and use the climbing wall. Reading & Writing Refresher
A summer refresher course in “The Basics” to reinforce skills. Increase reading comprehension through motivating activities focusing on oral reading, phonics, sight vocabulary and decoding. Learn to write effectively by focusing on sentence structure, punctuation, capitalization, spelling and organization. This class is especially for students who will benefit from academic reinforcement of the prior year.
Math Refresher and Mastery
A summer refresher course in “The Basics” to reinforce skills in mathematics. Basic grade level math facts will be reinforced through practice and non-calculator computation as well as with hands-on activities, manipulatives, and fun and games. Extend your conceptual understanding of computations: addition, subtraction,
multiplication, division and fractions. Expand your knowledge and develop your skills further playing a variety of math games and activities. Develop problem-solving skills and explore your mathematical horizons in this new class. For students at grade level mastery, who have an interest in exploring math conceptually.
Writer’s Workshop
Learn to love fiction and expand your own writing abilities. From poetry and storytelling to prose, learn about methods that authors use and create your own works of art. Learn the mechanics of writing and develop your own voice as an author in a relaxed and creative atmosphere. For students who are working at grade level and simply want more practice writing.

This course runs all morning or all afternoon giving students an opportunity to work with younger children and develop interpersonal skills assisting in a classroom.
