  • Pinewood Derby Sets Record with 152 Racers

    The 7th Racing of the Pinewood Derby on April 6 brought over 150 racers and their families to the Herbert Center Gym, while raising money for the Sacred Heart Primary School in Uganda. The event was supported by Stuart Hall High School volunteers. See pictures of the custom racecars here.

  • Free Speech Advocate Mary Beth Tinker Talks Student Activism at Convent

    On the heels of receiving the 2014 First Amendment Press Freedom Award for promoting student free speech, Convent High School hosted free speech activist Mary Beth Tinker on April 3, along with Frank LoMonte from the Student Press Law Center in Washington DC.

  • Ikenna Nwadibia'10 Receives All-Conference Nod for Basketball at Kenyon College

    Ikenna Nwadibia'10, the standout senior on Kenyon College's men's basketball team, has been named second team all-conference in the North Coast Athletic Conference. Ikenna has been Kenyon's high scorer for most of the season and the best rebounder. Read more.

    In wrestling for the North Coast Section on February 28, four Knights had a combined total of six individual match wins, which bests the school's previous record of two. Congratulations to freshman Alex McDonald (2 wins), sophomore Arjun Saxena (2 wins), junior Gennaro Covelli (1 win) and senior Xa Conrad (1 win).

  • Varsity Basketball Update: Cubs Lose Valiant Fight, Knights Advance to Semi-Finals of NCS

    In hoops action Saturday night, #1 seed Christian Valley (Dublin) played a tough game with the #9 seed Convent, and walked away with the win, ending another great season for the Cubs. #3 seed Stuart Hall also played a tough game against #6 seed Hoopa Valley HS (North Coast), and held on to win 78-77. The Knights play Branson School on March 5.

  • Stuart Hall Sophomore Wins Two Silver Medals in Fencing

    Sophomore Zach Hammer earned a silver medal at the Junior Olympic Fencing Championships in Portland on February 16 and another silver medal at the International Fencing Federation's Pan American Zone Championships in Guatemala City just a few days later to bookend his break from classes with some serious hardware.

  • Frank Duncan'10 Named One of the Best College Baseball Players in the Country

    Frank Duncan'10, the right-handed pitcher who led the Stuart Hall Knights to two league championships in high school, has found tremendous success playing ball at the University of Kansas. Perfect Game scouting service places him at No. 46 on the list of top 100 college baseball seniors. Frank was drafted by the Cleveland Indians organization in June but elected to stay at Kansas for his senior year. Frank is one of a dozen Knights now playing on NCAA teams. Read more.
