Stuart Hall for Boys is a unique, inspiring and exceptional school dedicated to meeting the needs of boys from kindergarten through eighth grade - and beyond. From my multiple perspectives as an educator and as the father of two Stuart Hall “gentlemen,” I have come to appreciate the many opportunities and experiences that this school has to offer. Stuart Hall is blessed with the resources and talent to enable each and every boy to reach his full potential. The faculty and staff have created an environment conducive to learning. In addition, they understand the intrinsic needs of boys and are trained in the instructional methods proven to help boys learn best. We provide a rigorous academic program that includes time for a focus on spiritual development, myriad extracurricular opportunities and small class sizes.
Complementing our exceptional educational program, Stuart Hall has some of the finest facilities in San Francisco: modern science labs, art studios, two theaters, computer labs, a beautiful chapel, two gymnasiums, climbing walls, impressive libraries, various outdoor play spaces, and the esthetic beauty of stately mansions. Along with the benefits of a single-sex education, we offer the advantages of a coed community by sharing many activities, such as arts, athletics, service, and social celebrations, with our sister school, Convent Elementary School. This unique position allows our students to enjoy the best of both worlds. Additionally, our students have the privilege of continuing their education in the outstanding college preparatory program at Stuart Hall High School.
