Seconds To Go is a resale shop operated by Schools of the Sacred
Heart at 2252 Fillmore Street (between Clay and Sacramento) in San
Francisco. Founded in 1974 by parent volunteers, the store relies on
donations of quality clothing, furniture, small appliances,
kitchenware, jewelry, furs, antiques, sports equipment toys, books, and
accessories.
Seconds To Go is also the perfect place to donate and purchase gently used school uniforms as well as new School Store items.
Because
the store relies on parent volunteers to assist with sales and
inventory, each family is asked to work one three-hour shift for each
enrolled student per year.
Marketable donations to
Seconds To Go are tax deductible and all proceeds directly support the
Financial Aid Program at Schools of the Sacred Heart. Well over
$1,000,000 in financial aid has been raised by Seconds To Go in the
last 30 years.
