  • Frank Duncan'10 Drafted by Pittsburgh Pirates

    Frank Duncan, the right-handed pitcher who led the Stuart Hall Knights and the University of Kansas Jayhawks to many victories, was selected in the 13th round of the Major League Baseball draft on June 7 and will play for the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. Frank was drafted in 2013 by the Cleveland Indians and elected to return for his senior year at Kansas, where he pitched in the College World Series in May. Kansas Head Coach Rich Price said, "I am really excited for Frank to be selected and chase his dream of playing professional baseball. He had a great senior year being named first-team all-conference, and he is completely prepared to play at the next level. I am really looking forward to watching the young man grow and continue his career in baseball."
