GIVING TO
CONVENT & STUART HALL

Every facet of school life is supported by our families, alumni and friends who give their time and energy enriching the experience for all of our students.

Independent schools need vast resources to thrive and teachers need the security of financial stability to fully focus on their students.

But there is also the constant need to supplement tuition income for the many programs that enrich the student experience. Like every independent school, each year Convent & Stuart Hall rely significantly on charitable gifts:

  • Annual Fund helps the schools meet operating expenses not covered by tuition or endowment income. We ask that our community make support of the Annual Fund a priority.
  • Capital Campaigns and our Endowment add funds for maintenance of our historic buildings and for long-term, consistent growth in faculty salaries.
  • Fundraising events supplement the operating budget and provide the community with a wonderful way to work together.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, Convent & Stuart Hall provide tax benefits to all donors making qualified unrestricted and/or restricted gifts.

Convent & Stuart Hall count on parents, alumni, past parents, grandparents, trustees, faculty, staff and administrators to contribute at a level commensurate with their financial ability. They are all supporting something they believe in: the excellence of a Sacred Heart education. No gift is too small - or too large! As this generation of students is benefiting from the extraordinary support of previous generations, it is now our turn to sustain the legacy of Sacred Heart education.

“Pray. Grow holy. Collect funds. Alas! Why must one always, when planning the works of God, put this vile question of money on par with spiritual means? It is because, in truth, without it, one can do nothing.”

St. Madeleine Sophie Barat,
who founded the Society of the Sacred Heart in 1800.
