Favorite Subject
My favorite subject in school currently is Publications. It is a class where I get to pursue my passion for photography. It allows me to work for both our school newspaper, The Broadview, and for our yearbook, Tres Bien, and my teacher enters me and the other photographers into competitions to help widen our skills.

Favorite School Activity
I really love running (especially sprinting), it is a sport I have pursued ever since I can remember. This year I plan to join our Track and Field team because I have heard that they take the team seriously and really make sure to get their athletes fit for meets.

Favorite School Tradition
This being my second year of Convent, I have found that I appreciate the tradition of Congé. There is a day once a year that the seniors orchestrate for a day of fun and no classes. The day, however, is unknown to everyone, which makes it even more exciting. It is a great way to bond with classmates and have a break from study work.

Favorite Space/Classroom on Campus
I love The Center because it is a really comfortable environment, with lots of comfortable chairs and desks. It's just a really great place to hang out with classmates, or be comfortable while being studious.

Best Part of Your Day
Currently I am part of our school musical, Les Miserables, and I really look forward to our very entertaining rehearsals with lots of singing and fun scenes. The cast is really great, I love our teachers and it is a great way to get to know more guys and girls in other grades.

Favorite School Project
So far in my career at Convent, I have been most proud of my project for my HisLish (History and English) class where our actual class went to a courthouse in San Francisco for a case about the Europeans settling in America and killing the Native Americans. I acted as a European witness, where I studied my character extremely hard and was questioned by a lawyer of Native American side.

Benefits of Single-Sex Classes, Coed Community
Yes, it is an interesting adjustment going from coed environment to a single-sex one. I find that the single-sex setting is much more relaxed, especially in the classroom. I think I have become a better and more confident public speaker because of the all-girls aspect. I have noticed, too, that I am more open to asking questions in class, without having to be self-conscious about what I say.

Future Career Path/Fields of Interest
I have a lot of creative genes in my family, which leads me to think I will probably pursue something in the design field, such as photography. But what I will do specifically with photography, I have not yet decided.
