Favorite Subjects
My favorite subjects are Moral Philosophy & Ethics and Computer Science. I enjoy Computer Science because I find the concept of inputting information and commands, and then receiving output, fascinating. Moral Philosophy & Ethics is also one of my favorites because we have stimulating class discussions about important topics that are relevant to current events.

Favorite School Activity
My favorite school activity is soccer because I love the sport and the team is such a tight-knit, close group of girls. We all share the same passion and are able to relate to each other. The soccer team has made it possible for me to become friends with girls in other grades and create connections and bonds I never would have made before.

Favorite School Tradition
My favorite school tradition is Noëls because I love hearing all of the songs in various languages. It makes me feel connected with the other students from all four school divisions. I think it's a beautiful tradition that makes our school unique.

Favorite Space/Classroom on Campus
My favorite space on campus is the Belvedere because it makes me reflect on the opportunities this school provides me. I love to look out over the amazing view to remind myself how incredibly fortunate I am to be given the opportunity to attend a school like Convent. I spend most of my free time in the Belvedere, eating lunch there everyday and studying there during free periods.

Best Part of Your Day
The best part of my day is Computer Science class because writing computer programs really helps me relax. The order and logic to a program makes sense to me and I'm always eager to learn about new ways to approach a program. I've found computer science as a type of escape from my hectic schedule. Since I did not take Computer Science before attending Convent, it took me by surprise that I fell in love with it so easily, but now it is the class I most look forward to.

Favorite School Project
A school project I'm most proud of would probably have to be my Sophomore Capstone Project. I tackled the issue of the Foster Care System and ended up not only learning about the system but I also discovered a new passion of mine. There was so much that I didn't know about Foster Care before I started the project and now that I have finished it, I'm proud to say that I'm much more educated about the topic. The project challenged us to find a solution for any topic of our choosing, requiring us to give an end-of-the-year presentation and continue our pursuit after the end of Sophomore year. I have yet to find the solution for the problems the Foster Care System faces but I'm proud of the fact that I have continued to think of different ways I could help.

Benefits of Single-Sex Classes, Co-ed Community
I have benefited greatly from attending a single-sex and co-ed school. Personally, I learn much better in an all-girls class setting because I'm focused and I'm unafraid to take risks. Having only girls in my classes has helped me to develop a unique voice and opinion that I'm confident in expressing, which will help me later when I enter larger co-ed classes in college. However, being in a co-ed environment has helped me develop my social interactions with both boys and girls. Overall, having both opportunities has been beneficial to my learning curve in academic and social settings.

Future Career Path/Fields of Interest
I have yet to figure out what I want to pursue exactly, but I have many ideas. I'm very interested in a career having to do with Computer Science, the Foster Care System, or being involved in marketing or communications for the National Women's Soccer League. My interests cover a large range but I'm passionate about each one of them and I'm very excited to see where they lead me in the future.
