Arts

A variety of fine and performing arts subjects are taught by specialty faculty, adding breadth and depth to the program. Music, art and drama are integrated into the curriculum beginning in kindergarten, and additional opportunities are offered after school.

The Les Petites Voix (grades 2-3), Elementary Chorus (grades 4-6), and Bel Canto (grades 7&8) Choirs practice regularly, participate in choral festivals, and each year they have a couple of evening performances in the Syufy Theatre. Sometimes additional performances are made in conjunction with the Four-School Orchestra Concert. Our students perform two drama/musical productions annually, collaborating with Stuart Hall. Drama and musical productions generally involve students in grades 6-8. Every student participates in the annual 4-school Art Show, a wonderful installation in the Flood Mansion each spring.
